Ternopil (Ternopol in Russian) is a large cite in Western part of Ukraine located on the bank of Sirets River. The city Ternopil was founded in 1540 as Polish military fortress and a castle. Ternopil is situated within a 130 km distance from Lviv. The population of Ternopil is around 222,000 people. Ternopil is one of the industrial centers in Ukraine.
